King Willow is the sister-pop project of Julianna and Amanda Salguero.
East Coast natives who migrated to San Francisco, Amanda and Julianna cut their teeth in the Bay Area singer-songwriter scene. Collaborating with other locals and bandmates, their sound expanded to include more indie rock influences. King Willow brings a quality of vulnerability and earnestness to upbeat indie pop.
Since their childhood the two have been intrinsically linked. Julianna has been a songwriter since she could talk, and Amanda has been harmonizing and honing her vocal craft (basically) since birth.
King Willow released their self-titled debut EP in March 2017, and two more singles in fall 2018. Their most recent track “Blue Valentine” was released on Valentine’s Day 2019.
